Wax and Biscuits

I had a very productive weekend.  I'm working with lost wax casting, which is a new concept for me.  Below are the wax molds of a ring and cuff I'll be casting in a few weeks.  Can't wait to see them come to life in brass!

And I also did some creating of another kind - BISCUITS! (they go great with the peach preserves by the way)

It's A Thing Again!

Okay, so it's been a bit of a whirlwind summer.

I've had quite a few large changes in life and a lot of firsts!

*First time to live on my own in my "adult" life! (Moved in May)

And let me tell you - these babies are fun but EXHAUSTING!  I wanted to fall over on the couch and sleep for about two days after each of the three that I did this Summer.

The picture above is one of the many versions of my booth.  It's a constantly evolving process!
